The invention ‘Floating River Generator’ introduces a novel technique to abstract energy out of mild sloppy river flow.
The techniques in the background art require construction of permanent structures such as dams, weirs and intakes in the river. Building structures across a river may violate biodiversity in the river habitats and aggravate flood problems in the inundations.
The biggest advantage with the invention is it’s ability to abstract river energy without any permanent structure in the river. It is floating on the water surface and abstracting flow energy by means of a row of water wheels.
